Ajmichalka 2 Ajmichalka 3 Linda LindaAnnette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio that was run by her mother. The first time she appeared on TV was when she was just two and was on The Don Mahoney Trooper Show. In the year 13 and had ten years worth of singing and dancing lessons behind her, she and her mom went to L.A. for a year in order to test whether she was able to pursue a career in show business. In less than two months, she got her first professional position: dancing with Danny Kaye on The Danny Kaye Show. "I've made use of my dance and singing training in many different ways," she says. "The the discipline that you learn from it is great for an actor." O'Toole's first acting role was My Three Sons, followed with appearances on Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, as well as Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole's greatest love, despite her successes in film and on television, is theatre. The actress decided after her time on Smallville ended, she would concentrate on theater exclusively. It's exactly what she has been doing since the beginning of the year. First auditions on stage in New York led her to be cast as The Sea Gull. She's performed in numerous off Broadway productions such as Adam Rapp's "Kindness", Tracy Letts Man From Nebraska as well as Tennessee Williams A Lovely Sunday for Creve Couer.
