Shay Mitchell is Canadian actress,model and businesswoman. Most famous for playing Emily Fields, she is the star of the Freeform television show Pretty Little Liars. After her accomplishments in dance, modeling and acting she took acting classes. Mitchell was offered guest roles as well as commercials before she got the breakthrough. Both critics and her fans were impressed with her performance. The acclaimed actress then established herself on the screen in films like DreamlandMother's Dayand The possession of Hannah Grace. The actress starred in the"You," a psychological thriller, and it earned more attention. In addition to actingShay is also a writer. Shay Mitchell was born on the 10th of April, 1987 and was brought up on the streets of Ontario, Canada to parents Mark Mitchell and Precious Garcia. Her mother was born in the Philippines, while her father was of Irish and Scottish heritage. Mitchell can also be the cousin to Lea Salonga - a famous musical theatre actress and singer.
